Ok this thread is for posting games that your currently playing and a little bit about whats good about them and whats not so good.

Right I'll start the ball rolling I'm currently playing Vietcong, its a first person shooter set obviously in Vietnam, the game starts of with you ariving at your camp in Vietnam you get to have a wander round the camp before finding the chief and getting asigned your bunker, once thats done you'll start to get sent on missions ie visit a village and take out Vietcong snipers, easy as this may sound it actually turns out to be a little more tricky than expected due to the fact that the snipers are miles away and your trying to hit them with a gun akin to a blunderbus, so you have to get in closer which also proves quite a task sometimes as the games AI is pretty smart sometimes, Vietcong diving for cover behind bushes etc at the first sound of trouble is a fairly common sight and makes them hard to hit, all in all though a decent game so far not found any glaring faults with it yet, it is pretty tricky sometimes though so if your just looking for a pick up and play shooter then this maybe wont be the game for you, but if your looking for a little something more then this'll be right up your street, to get the full benefit of the game your gonna need to run it on a pretty decent PC set up, but it can be tweaked to run pretty well on lower spec'ed machines and will still provide as much enjoyment.

Right this ones not for the kiddies or the easily shocked, or those looking to establish a political career as it politely warns you in the startup screen, ok now that we've got the cautions and hype out of the way lets get down to details, the game is called Postal 2 and its not a postman sim as the name suggests, it is in fact a first person shooter built on the Unreal game engine but with very major differences, you get to hit people with a spade for a start, and there is a fair amount of dark humour involved with Gary Coleman being a character in the game and the likes of Jihad Goat milk being sold in the shops etc, some people may find a few elements of this game to be offensive, but the game is only as violent as you make it, in the sense you can go about your missions with virtually no violence involved or you can reap havok with all number of weapons including scissors, spade, napalm launcher and possibly the best weapon ever a stinking cows head that you throw into crowds of people, it releases toxic odours and reduces them to vomitting and then death, it is also possible to erm urinate on people and yourself which you have to do if you catch fire, a lot of people aren't going to like this game due to the content, some of it could be construed as slightly OTT by some, but at the end of the day its only a game and if you don't like it then you can always switch it of and play something else, but for the people who do like this sort of game then this is going to be an absolute treat for you......................Anti Flag I find myself thinking of you for some reason :p

I maybe have an over active imagination but the flames on the left look like an Arab trying to tackle an ostrich, and the one on the right looks like a wee ghost fellow holding a fish shaped helium balloon lol :p ok ok I'm getting my jacket :D
