All Read In: Boards Problems

Hi everyone,

As you know, we've had problems with the boards. This is apparently because some new server software isn't compatible with some old server software... and the Boards need both in order to work correctly. The creators of these boards are unable to resolve the problem until the server software people fix the problems at their ends.

There are two solutions for now. Either the boards can be left in the current, and frustrating, state, or they can be closed until such a time when they will run normally. The choice is yours.

until PHP release a new version that is compatible with the latest server software.

This subject thing it getting annoying when i do even post a subject and it still comes up BUT i cant live with out the boardddddddddddddddds So KEEP THEM OPEN!!!!!

For those of you that are having any problems, if you set the 'Browse board with cookies?' option to 'no' in you user CP (not the 'Automatically login when you return to the site? (uses cookies)' option, leave that on 'yes') it appears to solve all the problems. Hope that helps!

PS: Ben, u coul alsways go with a differentboard supplier, InvisionBoard..? s'where im gettin mine done, free naturally, not lyke the pooey one i got now, a proper forum! ¬_¬

Well, it was working, problems started again, gonna try reverting back to a previous version of IE, see if that helps.

hopefully we have some form of normality restored here soon - a temporary fix until a few bugs are worked out by a certain third party.

mrface - its not a problem with the boards themselves as such - these are the best available - its a problem with the language they are written in.

meanwhile, you should all find that http://www.cbfmobile.com/boards/ is the best URL to use to view/post messages.
