Right, I've had it, KaZaA has pissed me off one too many times, it's time for it and all its stupid spyware and hackers to go... only problem, I can't delete it!! I went to Add/Remove Programs through the Settings menu, clicked on it and clicked Add/Remove, and it decided it was going to try and install KaZaA, stupid thing... How the heck do I get rid of KaZaA without getting rid of eveything?

KaZaA has just cheived a massive payload a of my hatred... just above Microsoft...

Now I think about it, getting rid of everything doesn't seem like a bad idea... ever steeping near a computer again, does...

It actually uses the installer to un-install the program!

I say again, it tried to install KaZaA using some InstallSheild thing, but then, when it realised it was installed and gave up... trust me, it said 'installing'... o_O

yes it uses install shield to uninstall it also, but if you say it aint working then I'll take your word for it, by the sound of things it also wont reinstall either which generally means its well goosed, try restarting your pc and then try reinstalling then uninstalling.

Thanks Mr. Mullet, if that made any sense to me I'd give it a shot e_e. But don't worry about simplifying it for me, I'll just find this goddamn disk that Anti mentioned and delete and reinstall everything, start from scratch, no Messenger, no KaZaA, happy me.

would that be a recovery disk or a startup disk your looking for?

Anti might know which it is... by the way, you lot where right about the Install Sheil, just that I had KaZaA running when I tried to uninstall it, that was why it failed, I went through with is you said and it worked, sorry I doubted you.

ah don't mention it, the way ahead is sometimes unclear and the shadows of doubt can sometimes set in, but fear not we'll see you right in the end :)

Well Microsoft certainly don't take pride in the 'User Freindliness' of their software so someone's gotta, thanks again.
