What is a Lang????

when i have been copying various ring tones to my composer there have been a few i cannot copy down because of something called a lang

what the hell is a lang:confused:

A lang keypress means you hold the note down until a period appears.

So if you were given the instruction (Lang 5) you would hold down the 5 button until you got a full stop.

Someone hit the 'A' key instead of the 'O' key by accident when they were developing it.

Think I've discovered the correct etymology for the word Lang!

Nokia are based in Finland where at least 5.9% of the population are native Dutch speakers.

And the Dutch definition of Lang is long, protracted or lanky.
