Well, after being an avid fan and user of Paint Shop Pro 7 for a few years, I decided to 'acquire' a copy of Paint Shop Pro 8. First impressions are good, with the basic structure staying true to Paint Shop Pro form, with quite a few enhancements and new features (which I will list when I've experimented with them!). Old features that were in the past a little niggley (like the red eye feature) have been made better. Don't believe all the hype that Adobe Photoshop is far superior, I have both and find PSP to be almost as powerful, aimed more at the commercial user, has more 'fun' features, and is far more user friendly. All in all, this is a very superlative new version, that can almost compete with Photoshop for around 1/6th of the price.

Power to the Jasc!

I've been using dear ole PSP since day zero.

I do find the conversions and exports to be better on Coral products tho...

I've been using PSP7 for two years now and after downloadin a trial of PSP8 I was so confused with all the new settings , so i'm back with PSP7. I cant afford to update it anyway, i have PSP7 on CD and I'm very familiar with everything, it does the same thing so why change?? I'm THE PSPaholic.....Should I be Proud or Ashamed? :p

Once you get used to the new layout, it's pretty much the same.....you can download the full version of 8 from kazaa, takes about 40 minutes on broadband....not that I'm condoning piracy, so don't download it!

P.S. Ignore that last bit ;)
