Just go to my computer, then choose your hard drive (Usually c:) and browse the folders.....if you just want to look for certain files, i.e. you wanted to find every picture on your pc, click start/search/files or folders then in the search for files or folders box type in a * and the type of file you are looking for, if there's ore than one, seperate them with a comma, so a search for images would look like this *jpeg,*jpg,*gif,*bmp,*png*,*tiff
Hope that helps!

There are quite a few utilities out there that will get rid of all the cr@p that gets built up on your hard drive and clear up a bit of space, go over to zdnet, there'll be a few free ones on there.

LOL
I think Mr Face means to do the following in Internet Explorer:
click Tools > Internet Options
Look for the Temporary Internet Files area on the General tab
Click "Delete Files"
Follow the prompts
That empties out the copies of all the websites you have visited that get stored on your hard drive.
Things like chat transcripts will not be automatically logged, and even if they are then they are normally capped to a very small size. You'd be better going to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and uninstalling the things on the list that you don't use anymore.

If you have IE 6 theres a button that says 'delete cookies' (the delete files doesnt actually delete the cookies. its close to 'clear yonder cookies' but not quite! If you dont have IE6 (you can tell by finding that you dont have the button) then all you need to do is this:
Click tools>Internet Options
Click the settings button
Click View files
Click edit>select all
Hit the lovely delete key on your keyboard!
