if u wanna swich from o2 to voda, ur fone must be unlocked. if ur fone is single band u can change to voda. if it dual band u can switch to voda,orange or t-mobile/virgin.

eh single band ? dual band? well all i know is that my phone is on o2 its a 3410 and i have 2 sim cards for o2, one is the normal one i recieved when i got my phone, the other is o2 online one with 300 free texts a month. eh, i dont know anything bout dual and single band, sorry.

ok first of all im happy to tell you ur 3410 is dual band (the majority of fones are nowadays)

type the following code into ur fone:
#pw+1234567890+1#
(you can get p,w and + by repeatedly pressing the * key)
if ur fone displays "sim was not restricted" then ur free to use a sim card from any network.
if ur fone displays "code error" (may also reboot) then ur fone is locked and u will need to get it unlocked b4 it will accept a sim from a different network.

so i can just like buy a say orange sim card and simply change and swap and use o2 and orange and o2 and orange just like that and needs no unlocking? cool. thanks mate

please read it again carefully :)

if ur fone is unlocked then yes u can freely change sim cards to ur hearts content.

if it is locked u can only use o2 sim cards in it unless u get it unlocked.

It's normally between 5 and 10 squid depending on where you go.

Maybe free if you flash em a bit o leg...

(The above advice dosn't work if you're a bloke wit very hairy pipecleaners fir legs).
