Driving me potty

:eww: I just got hold of a nice new nokia 7210 and the thing i've been most looking forward to is getting a hold of some polyphonic ringtones. Well here's the problem, i've set my WAP on as an anologue GSM signal as it wont work on GPRS or ISDN, and i can get to the wap site...........i then enter the code.........still fine........it starts downloading the file.......and after about 30-40 seconds WHAM! 'No response, try again later'

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm on a 02 contract if thats any help. I also noted that i cudn't upload certain midi files using my data cable i bought as well, because it was larger than 15.6KB. Are your files larger than this? wold it make a difference?

Does it just say try again later or does it ask you to check your network connections?

There shouldn't be any problem downloading ringtones or even uploading them via cable as Nokia claim the 7210 handles transfers of up to 32KB.

You need to manage the memory space and the browser cache on the fone itself. Would it be possable that you've just run out of space?

defo sounds like a phone problem - i have a 7210 on orange and its fine... cbfmobiles midis are only a few kb, definitely not over 10!
