-I mean the likes of Iron Maiden, Saxon, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Alice Cooper, Dio, Anthrax, and the likes...
Personally, Iron Maiden are my favourite band of ALL time- With Dio running 2nd only through my Patriotism, and the fact that 'Maiden's Artworks are generally better... (As soon as I have enough posts, 'The Trooper' is gonna be my Avatar! ;) )
So far, I've managed to see 'Maiden twice- latest at Donington last Saturday... **Gazes into space, thoughtfully for a moment...** Phew... When Bruce is having a good day, he makes sure the crowd know it!!!
I've also seen Dio, Alice Cooper, and Anthrax Live (All with Supports- But I'll just talk Headliners, here! ;) )
Dio is REAL Cheesy in his shows, but hell- I loved every second of it!- ESPECIALLY gettin to meet the guys in the Aftershow party! :D )
Alice Cooper... WOW... EVERYONE- Regardless of tastes, should get to see an Alice Cooper show!- It really IS a SHOW, rather than just a 'gig'!
Anthrax- What can I say?!- I didn't really know of Anthrax before I was pulled into seeing them with some Online friends who were meeting up for it- But the sheer energy- Raw, heavy THRASHING sound- really was amazing- Anthrax are DEFINATELY next on my 'CD's to buy' list!
