Do you have MIDI installed on your computer? If you don't then your browser will try and download the midi file to your hard disk...

There are loads a free midi players out there.:D

Also if you're using Internet Explorer check the Tools>Internet Options>Advanced>Multimedia bit and make sure you can play sounds in webpages.

Y'can hear the polys because they're in MP3 format instead of midi to stop em getting half inched.

also try Windows Update (http://windowsupdate.micrososft.com/) and make sure you have the latest version of Windows Media Player installed - it should take control of playing MIDI by itself.

Sometimes wen I listen to a monophonic preview it plays it then half way through it plays it again, so there both being played over each other.gets very confusing:(

This is a problem with recent builds of Windows Media Player - it never used to happen. Unfortunately, whatever tags are used to play the preview, it happens all the same. Someone should tell microsoft... or at least ask them what tag they expect sites to use for their recent software builds.
