lol I've maybe missed something here but who said to unsubscribe? best thing to do is goto your control panel, then into add and remove programs, then uninstal MSN Messenger, then goto the MSN page and reinstal it again, this should hopefully sort out your problems, also you don't have to use messenger to view your emails just click on Hotmail on the MSN page and you can view your emails from there. :)

You can always use Outlook express, or for a very good, very customizable alternative, try Incredimail (http://www.incredimail.com/). Don't worry, it's free!

Hotmail, along with the rest of MSN have a problem called "sucking"... I use good old loyal Yahoo! ... Even though Geocities deleted my Mana site, without a reason... buggers...

Yahoo! are affiliated with BT and are therefore EVIL!
...Jus kidding :p Yahoo! is a pretty good one stop community source for people still getting used to the web and for new users. A lot of good free services like muliplayer games and suchlike. A big thumbs up to Wayne Rogers, (the current owner) and his team for that.
But I've stopped using the mail service after my account was hacked last year. Yahoo! were quick of the mark to do absolutely nothing whatsoever about it so I tend to use independant companies now.
...and hotmail a course. *blushes*

hotmail is an ok they only give you 2mb for free (you have to pay if you want more) and most of it gets taken by spam.
yahoo is ok but now they stopped pop access unless you pay for it (so i forward me mail to another address, wander when they will start charging to do that to)
at the mo lycos uk are quite good, you get 15mb inbox and support for large attachements, and it has pop access.
also their tripod uk aint to bad (when it works) yeah lot of adverts but u do get 50mb with unlimited bandwith for nothing, and one of the few free hosts with php and mysql.
you can run a forum on it if you want, i once ran phpbb on tripod and currently have invasion power board up and running. Now all i need is some hits

Stick a link up in the Website Reviews thread sayin wot yer board's theme is and all that...
...or one way to promote your site which reportedly works quite well is to drop brightly coloured flyers from a moving aircraft over entertainment starved countries like Russia for example.

Thing is with Yahoo! is that they now charge for POP3 access (downloading your emails to a program like outlook express).....if you are using POP3, inbox size doesn't really matter, as you should set your program NOT to leave a copy of the message on the server, that way the only inbox size limit is the limit of your own hard drive!

I never use POP... don't even know what it is so it doesn't bother me having to pay for it!
