Tho I doubt BTopenworld are the baddies here I advise to find a better provider because BT will put the shuck down on you sooner or later.

There's a good few to choose from. I'd say try Onetel if they're available. Or the Mulletsters Blue-Yonder. Even NTL are better than BT in the long run.

But then again a childs paper-cup-with-string-fone performs better than a BT line in the long run

set up outlook express to check your hotmail and use that instead.

then u wont get that silly bar at the top (which messes up forums.etc) when u click your link.

thats how i do it.

1) start outlook express

2) goto tools then options

3) Select add then select mail

4) type your display name (the name u want the emails to come from)

5) type in your hotmail address e.g name@hotmail.com

6) being a ms product it should already have the settings for the hotmail mail server so just press next

7) type in your password

8) press finish

9) press close

10) click yes to i would like to donload folders from the mail server

11) use send/recive to check for mail

ANYPROBS then either reply to this or pm me

That was based on the assumsion that u have outlook express 5 or newer.

if not you will have to goto windows update and download an internet explorer update (includes outlook express)

thats becuase u are pressing tools on internet explorer and not outlook express.

its a seaprete program, comes with windows 2000 and XP and i think possible win98

if its not on your pc you can get it by downloading the lastest internet explorer from www.windowsupdate.com

but be warned if you are not on broadband it will take a while to download the updates, i think about 40mins or so for internet explorer update.
