Family Get-togethers

Hey, Y do parents always have ta insist that ya wear a pretty lil dress when ya go 2 family get-togethers?! I'm not a fan of dresses meself! I got away wiv wearin jeans last time....phew! Is ne 1 elses parents like that?! :rolleyes:

The only skirt/dress i own is the skirt I have to wear for school, we ain't aloud trousers, and the dress I wore when I was bridesmaid, but thats all I have!

I own skirts.....4 hols n stuff, I like me Denim skirt :D That's nice, s'got lil diamond things on the pockets! (plastic o' course!)

Well we had a sort of get together today, we had a BBQ for Dave's b-day which is on the 19th!! anyways..my family and dave's family was here and barry and daniel and that are still here!!! they are getting absolutely drunk, i AM allowed to jokin in but what they are drinking i don't like, i hate Mrogan's i hate beers..ony ma sis has ma fave drink that i want right now andthats Smirnoff Ice at the moment..there was vodka ( not a lot ) until i drank the last of it!! they are all dancing right now downstairs, i aint taking part cus i aint drunk, otherwise i woudl be downstairs dancing my feet off!!!

this is how close my family is.. last time i saw my grandad was nearly 2 years... 2 years sept 1st and that was cos we were invited to my nans sis's ex hubbys 80th at the dorchester hotel in london! (the posh gaff that they use for awards ceremonies and stuff)

Well i went downstairs and joined them in getting drunk and we started listening to P*t songs, lol it was funny!!! then dave adnhis brother starting mucking about with dave's gitars and writing funny songs..LOL!! then other bro in law came in by the party and so my sisters went to Buckley's leaving me in a house full of blokes..LOL!!!! before any of you say it, they are all like family to me!!!! ¬_¬

But my family dont "do" get togethers either, if we did there would be about zillion funerals to go to afterwards :rolleyes:

could be indeed! ive gotta go to my dads mates on the 6th of july and ive been told not to wear my normal clothes! :shock:*clears throat* "when we go to phils i dont want you wearing your ragamuffin clothes!".. "exscuse meeeeee!?.. you calling me a raggamuffin?.. im insulted!" .. "well get over it and well, anyway just dont wear those damn clothes" lol! my caring family! i think they will disown me if i go in what i wanna wear and ima be on my own, or stuck with bloody lil kids wonder if i can take a mate with me to scare the lil kiddies mwuhaha!

im gonna make my own family out of carrots using pins 4 eyes and mouths, and then im gonna dress them up using old hankies i have somewhere (old birthday pressies from OAPs)...then all i need to do is give them names. i could have an uncle bob and auntie marmite, grandad lesley and granny heather, the cousins mark and lou... *waddles to shops 4 more carrots*
