If you made a direct route to the file instead of your own d/l screen it wud work. Ne one who has a t300 knows that when you d/l of SE it says incoming object then you press yes or no if you did it like this instead of the way it is currently ALL tones would work perfectly - This is a fault with your system not our phone if you change it it will work i haved/l tones over 3kb off wap so just do it cus your talkin a load of rubbish

LOL
No, its just your phone is so basic that it needs it to be done like that. This system will remain the same - and so you will only be able to download 3kb tones, which IS a fault with the phone whatever way you view it.
CBFMobile has certain levels of security that it is not going to compromise just so a few extra models of phone can download content.
If you don't like it, go somewhere else and pay :)

I am sayin that you should give all phone users equal use of all your ringtones on the isteand not jst say go away if you dont like it, you have some gr8 tones but due to poor service on your behalf T300 users cant get them

This is what i mean lots of people cant acess your polytones why dont you do a poll or something and see if its worth doing! If you struggle to d/l tones say and we can see how many people agree with me! There is nothing wrong with the phone its is purely how your service works - i means its free why have all the security for petes sake.

eddz1 - as lovely as it would be to be "fair and equal to everyone" - without all the phone manufacturers batting with the same bat that's kinda hard!
Ashi - this isn't the right thread to start talking about the myx5.

You say thta but it could be VERY easily achieved if you put direct links to files instead of your wierd d/l screens or even let us d/l them to the computer and put them down a data cable or similar

Look
Sites charge you £4.50 ish for a direct link to the file. They can therefore afford for some of their tones to be pilfered away by people stealing them.
CBFMobile protects the content it has available because if it didn't, someone would come along and steal it all and start their own lil site. For you that might be great, but I call it illegal.
Feel free to email cbfmobile about it but no matter how much you argue with me I cant change a thing.

in the FAQ which can be found in Help, there is an option to contact there. I dont think you can email the d1m.net people but I'm sure emailing cbfmobile will be fine...

If you email CBFmobile with your wap transfer scripts which both support your model and take into account the security needs here then I'm sure they'd probably be happy to look them over.
But storming into a community based site and telling everybody they're useless and full of rubbish was never going to get a good response now was it?
Don't get me wrong. Constructive criticism and suggestions are always useful but just attacking a volunteered service because it dosn't match your agenda isn't very nice.
CBFmobile offer a totaly free and varied range of great services and advice to enhance many peoples mobile experience but there simply aren't the resources available here to provide total content coverage for every make and model of phone in every country on earth.
Why not dedicate all of your time and energy to setting up your own comprehensive free access service and get a taste of what it feels like having your efforts thrown back in your face.

Lol! Sorry :p
That was quite a rant wasn't it!
My view was that whoever coded these sites and services must have wrestled valiently with them and put in a lot of blood sweat n tears to get it all up and running so well.
Wether it was a paid 'out of house' contract job or not dosn't change the fact that it's quite an achievement.
...also my wages being postponed by a month may have had something to do with the above post. Who knows! :D

Yeah sorry about I didnt really realise security was such a big issue on a site like yours. On the upside i shud be gettin a new fone in the week so does all the tones work on the SE T610?

I've not tried one but looking at the technical specs I would be verysurprised if you had any trouble.
Theres some advanced audio features in there including a 32 note polyphonic synth! There's also a decent chunk of memory space.
And the Java support hints that it's been designed with WAP multimedia in mind.
I'd like to hear the outcome if you give it a try though :p
