meh, ok i dont believe in gods and (Lets keep to some nicer language please, not everyone shares your view: edited by Ben) but i do believe in ghosts and spirits and other forces and powers! the other day my brother and his mates did the ouiji board and it spelt out my mums name, my dads name and my name to my brother!, he then asked for the first letter of our dead dogs name it said R which is correct, problem is it wouldnt tell them who it is all we know is its from my dads side of the family and it also spelt out posnos! i did a search and it came up with summat to do with egypt but i also know that a guy way back in my dads family was torpeadoed of the coast of alexander egypt and drowned, the only other thing i can think of is that posnos stands for summat of its all mixed up but then i came up with spoons.. god knows what that means! can anyone shed some light on this?

Ouiji board's use 'child' type spelling a lot of the time, almost like text typing, so I guess it could mean poisonous?

Ouiji boards r DEMONS tellin u stuff, fortune tellers can't tell the future either it's just demons tellin them ure past and what they tell u about ure future they MAKE happen THEMSELVES.....evil...so if u don't go 2 a fortune teller good 4 u, u can make ure own future! i believe in fate yet ouiji boards are not always evil.. but can produce bad things but aslong as you dont be rude or do anything stupid and you enter and exit properly and also cleanse the board before and after using it you should be fine and if the pointer spins you end the session as that ould be an evil spirit!

Until science goes the extra step in proving what is and what isn't, I think a lot of people will need a belief. There are so many unanswered questions out there that people need answers for - and ghosts/spirits/religion in general does that. Of course, a lot of people just need a reason for living - "when I've lived my years here doing the same thing day in day out, I'm going to rot in the ground" doesn't have the same shimmer that eternal afterlife does, frollicking with jesus and pals :D

If ghosts exsist why do only some people become ghosts when they die and not all of us? If all of us became ghosts when we die then surely everyone would of seen them and it would just be a known and excepted thing.
