if i were you, id find the 'unlock your nokia phone for free!!!' tread on these boards and download the very small, but incredibly useful DCT-4 calculator yourself, as found by the mullet. of course, that's if you know what youre doing

how do i put these codes into my phone with my old or new sim

go to the thread i posted a link to above and read the last post in there, that tells you what to do

(it doesnt matter which sim you have in the fone, as youre unlocking your FONE not the SIM)

i put the first code in and then it asked me for a security code help what is the security code also do i use the network i want to generate the code or my old network

you use the network that you are trying to get away from, in other words, the nework you are currently locked to

it shouldnt say enter security code...but if it does, do what it says! if you havent changed your phones security code since you bought it, the default for a nokia is usually 12345

can i remind you to be VERY careful when entering in the codes! if you do it wrong more than a few times, your phone will be blocked! dont say i didnt warn u!

should i enter the seventh code in that box that appears. i have changed my security code and it works cause i have checked it

yes. if you have already entered the first code, now do the same for the seventh. that should confirm ur fone is unlocked. and then bingo!

after all that all it wanted was the 12345 and now i'm on o2 uk!!!
