Do not delete your own posts, especially if it is the first post in a thread!

This is a big nono. The boards are an excellent archive - they collect information past and present that can be essential when helping users with problems. Do not delete your post/thread because you've decided it's too old now or you don't think it looks very good.

That also goes for the Gallery. If you post a picture there, do not delete it. If people continue to abuse the delete feature then I will have to try and disable it completely so you need to ask a moderator to delete posts in future.

If you do need to delete a post, it would be a good idea to check with the moderator of that board first, or pop into chat and ask an ops opinion.
