if you on a low budget then get an A800 one of the best black and white fones... or if ya got a lot of money... get either the Samsung P400 or the Sharp GX-20... both really good phones...

If you are on a low budget e.g £100 or less

Suggest the following phones

Nokia 3410 - £70
Nokia 3510i - £100
Siemens MC60 - £100 (Cheapest Camera phone in the UK)
Siemens A55 - £50
SAGEM MYX2 - £60
Motorola C350 - £80

Less than £100 - Siemens MC60, Nokia 3510i, Samsung C100
Less than £200 - O2's New phone can't remember the model, Ericsson T610, Nokia 7210
Less than £300 - Samsung P400, LG 7100, Nokia 6810, Nokia 7250i
Less than £400 - Nokia 6600 (it is the best phones in this price range)
Over £500 - Sony Ericsson P900 (best phone in this range, i don't think there are any other phones this expensive anyway)

I know your posts were made in November but the Nokia 7250i and nearly every other fone posted has been free on most networks from the start November and before. I should know I got mine in October and Orange screwed me for £100 and it was an upgrade and a week later it was free to my mate who wandered in off the street. This is my 3rd term with Orange.

The MC60 may not be the cheapest cam fone in the uk but it certainly is the ugliest. And the SET610 is ugly to and is not as good as the nokia. I do admit the screen has more colours but its like a vampire - it disappears at the sing of light! The pictures are also worse when printed out. Look at octobers stuff. But if you must like SE fones look out for the T630. Its a wanna be iPod lookalike. Again in Stuff but December or January edition!

hmmm I'm a big fan of most things Nokia, but I've got to admit I was frankly shocked when I read the aforementioned article in Stuff, you as well as anyone should know that the picture quality on the 7250i is downright mediocre at best, now compare any of your 7250i pics to the ones that stuff printed and I rest my case, those pics were not taken with a 7250i, besides the point the screen on the 7250i is just plain bad.

Even though the pictures on the 7250i look bad on the small screen (4096 colours) when sent to another fone that is not MMS enabled you must go online to view at www.orange.co.uk/mms and here the pictures are brilliant.
I am an avid fan of Nokias but a sorely dissappointed with the quality of my screen!

If people do get Camera phones then make sure it has
64K colours or more as it will mean a better quality picture.

e.g Nokia 3660, Samsung P400, Sharp GX10i etc....

Also check out 6600, 7200, 7700, 7600, 6230 for a full colour screen of 65,536 colours. Most new Nokias are colour too but only 4,000
:D

Also the 3660 is 65,536 colours.:fight:

Definatelt not a 8310.
Yeh they looks great and seem great at first.. but sooner or later something will happen with it and will start to fall apart and get many faults.

If you want a Nokia, I reccomend the Nokia 3200. Its a camera phone (has the radio like the 8310) and is £150.

Hope this helps!

If they want a raDio they could try a 7210, 7250, 7250i, 6100 and almost every new Nokia. So there:fight:

Another point to add to my previous comments of this:

The pictures are not taken of them on the fones screen but sent to a computer/email and then printed and then added to the magazine. The screen on the 7250i to put it mildly is crap but the camera is the best of any non-video cam fone around.

erm I think your pointing out the obvious there mate we know they are not pictures from the 7250i's own screen in fact we'd have to be pretty stupid if we did, first things first no one who knows anything about anything uses a review in Stuff magazine as proof of something as they are about the most corrupt magazine going, christ they've taken more back handers than the Russian government, now I've seen plenty 7250i pics on computers to know the ones in stuff weren't from a 7250i, a few of my mates who own 7250i's and upload all of there pics to there PC's also confirmed my suspicions.
