hi people, im new here, and would have loved to get in the goth thread, unfortunatley its closed now. i dont mean to get off on the wrong foot, but i think labelling people 'freak' or townie' is really pathetic. everyone is themselves and dont 'dress scary' to get labelled. thank you for your time :)

yeah decent bit of politeness there, as someone mentioned possibly in the original thread we don't use the term townies up here they are known as neds, and via my extensive dealings with people from all walks of life I have found the ned contingent to be one of the more tedious factions of society, and in my opinion anyone who wears a Burberry cap pointing towards the heavens etc is pretty much asking for a slagging, wearing a full tracksuit/shellsuit with said hat and drinking Buckfast and Tennants super strength lager more or less justifies said slagging. :p
