hi im going to make a site similar to yours, i want to offer free ringtones or logos but make sure that cbf is mentioned but id like to be able to do it through my site so i can change the look of it all, anyway i could do this

lol yeah sorry I thought I was off on a tangent, but the more I look at it I think I was on the right path, I think what he's asking for is a copy of everything that is CBFMobile - boards, tones, logos the lot so he can then add a couple of cartoony background images and run it as his own site, but its not all one way traffic he's kindly offered to give CBF a mention on said site. :p

no... i just asked if i could use the tones or logos in return for some sort of partnership with cbf, but it looks like im not going to get a straight answer out of you guys so ill find someone else to help me out,

I am sure if you wanna foot some other bills for them then they Might JUST Might consider it. However linking to our tones / logos from your site in your name is not allowed .... but you can put a link to CBF from your site! :D

Id love it if they did, how about the logos, need any licenses for that? Don't I need access to a gateway or something along those lines to be able to send them, how do you go about getting rights to use these tones and how much is it roughly? I dont know how I could use cbf stuff via my site and mention you then, unless I paid some kind of monthly fee for the privilege?

I have just been informed that we cannot actually get you to pay for them :s apparently that is breaking terms and conditions with the people who we get the tones from ..... So i dont think that will be able to off n e thing other than a link to the site

its kinda hard to give you a straight answer if you don't ask a straight question, in fairness all you more or less told us is you wanted to make a cartoon looking site that done tones and logos and wanted to give cbf a mention, it was only after several readings of your post it became apparent you were in fact trying leech free tones and logos, I don't mean to dampen your enthusiasm as its always good to see someone trying to make a go of something, but I doubt your gonna get what your looking for without stumping up quite a bit of cold hard cash. :)

Unfortunately you cannot copy any aspect of CBFMobile, or the content contained within. Doing so would be illegal.

Providing premium mobile content for free is something CBFMobile can only do due to its large sponsors and advertisers. It is something CBFMobile has grown to do extremely well in an extremely saturated market.

My advice to you would be to come up with an original idea. Cater for something CBFMobile doesn't. If you must do mobile content, why not look into providing wallpapers, or ringtones for phones CBFMobile does not support.

By the way, incase you think I've gone quite mad, yes CBFMobile did plan a Webmasters section, where you could make a customised version of CBFMobile with your own co-branding. However, this option is not available at the moment. Meanwhile, however, I know Fonetastic.com do something similar - maybe take a look at that.
