Went to see this film last night, and what can I say, except wow! It really is an excellent conclusion to the trilogy, with just a few gripes. The way they cut out Saruman's scene was just a travesty! To me it was an integral part of the film that needed to be shown, and I was pretty dissapointed that they cut it out. Also, the ending was a little to drawn out. It wouldn't have been so bad if they didn't keep fading to black, trying to make you think that the film was over. But, overall a thoroughly enjoyable film! 5/5

And Grima Wormtongue wasnt it

And to anyone who never took the time to read the books... heres the all important ending... they destroy the ring... :o who saw that coming??? Its golum who does it tho... falls into mount doom innit...

Well... shoulda taken the time to read the books instead of jumping on the movie bandwagon! :p

I aint seen the movie yet meself... ah well

I suppose it could be tedious for some people at the start but I mean... its such a rich story you can forgive the slow start :D

I much prefer HArry Potter (but the films are let downs to the books.)

I don't really like the lotr films...I saw the first one, but I ain;t seen the Two Towers yet, nor the last one...I really want to read the books though. And I expect I'll want to read the books before I actually get to see the film.

Miramax have the rights to The Hobbit movie... so I guess we'll see a Peter Jackson directed prequel at one point...
