trying to unlock nokia 3310

Help please trying to unlock nokia 3310 got data cable and software CD (Purchased on ebay:-) )when i try to use EProm tools it says phone not connected and yet i can upload images tones etc from CD. I am on a PC using windows ME. would much appreciate some guidance!! Thanks

I had the same trouble with a 3310. I can use my cable all the time for logos ringotnes etc, but it only occasionally works with any eprom tools i got. just in case though, is it definitely the right kinda cable? logo manager and all that use FBUS, but my eprom tools use MBUS.

thanks rich think may have wrong cable purchased some unlocking codes off ebay today but they don't work either!! this is proving to be a nightmare of all times..where can i purchase right cable?? cheers for replying:confused: :confused:

have u got logomanager?
it will tell you if your cable is mbus or fbus.
both types will work with logomanager but only mbus will work with eeprom tools.

I got mine from ebay for about £4. Its got a selector switch to switch between fbus and mbus, so theres nothing it cant do!
