i've got a 3410, and i used to be on vodafone and my delivery reports used 2 work, but now i use my o2 sim card in it and i only get the pending report, never a delivered report even when i know they have delivered...any1 know why???

yup thats the worst of it you had a taste of what a quality network has to offer before you were thrown into the network abyss that is O2 its tragic it breaks my heart everytime I hear something like this....geez did I really say all that :worry:

I think essentially what G is trying to say is.....
unfortunately o2 dont support delivery reports :(

i get a report bak wen they av recieved it on there fone and im on o2...
if this is wot u want then try puttin *0# at the beginin of ur msg then send it and u shud get a msg bak tellin ya wen they av recieved the txt!!!

Nope, delivery reports dont work for me, im on o2 as well. Not that i use em anyway.

lol the phrase cup and string network springs to mind, O2 has got to be one of the worst networks there is I mean you can't have GPRS and MMS on the same account and you can't even get delivery reports without typing in silly codes, no wonder they are having to give there sims away for free :p

yeah it was...it's different from what i got before on my other network, but its the same sorta thing so thank u! i just wanted 2 know when they received my message!

Wrong G wrong! (never thought id say that :P). You can have gprs and mms on the same account, you just cant have mobile internet access and mms. You can still use gprs over WAP. :P

pffft thats just as bad whats the point of having GPRS if you can't use it for mobile internet? I've just had the displeasure of selling my sister my old 7650 and she's on O2, I've now used the phone with T Mobile, Vodafone and O2 and the O2 sim was very poor in comparisson to the other two, and untill she gets shot of the O2 sim she might aswell be using a Samsung :p
