PROs on Virgin Mobile:
Well Virgin have 15p per minute for the 1st 5 Minutes then 5p a minute afterwards.
And texts to another Virgin mobile are only 3p
CONs of Virgin Mobile:
Virgin dont do MMS or GPRS yet
Reception can be highly variable at times

My only advice is to stick with a mainstream network, none of these virtual ones.
Pick O2, Orange, Voda, or stick with T-Mobile. Futureproof. :)

Hi I'd recommend without a doubt O2 as their talkalot PAYG is £10 and 300 free texts and 300 free wap plus you can use the 10 quid for calls. network coverage excellent......

I'd stick with the T Mobile sim you can't go far wrong with it, MMS is great GPRS and mobile internet are great and most importantly coverage and customer services etc are very good, I was with them for 2 years before I jumped ship to Vodafone and I only jumped ship because T Mobile didn't offer the 6600 at that time. ;)

If u mostly text.... o2 online
If u mostly call....either the same network as most of ur friends are on, or if theyre all on different networks, then T-Mobile.
TD.

After 1st march, well now really... u can change the setting of the tarrif you're on... if u have 300free wap min, but wanna use GPRS... dial 2425 then change your tarrif so u can have 1mb of free GPRS insetad of the CSD wap... i think u can also do this via text but i'm not sure... u can also buy server GPRS bolt-ons but i'm not sure if they're availble yet...
