I moved this to a new thread cos we need a Punk one.. :p
So any chance of making it sticky?
Last night I discovered The Distillers and they're one of the greatest Punk bands to hit this earth since sliced bread..
I am fully aware that sliced bread isnt a Punk Rock band, but thats besides the point....
Anway.. where was I?
Oh yeah! If you're a fan of the Dropkick Murphys, Rancid, NOFX, Guttermouth, Pennywise or any number of bands on the Fatwreck and Epitaph labels, you'll just lurve The Distillers... 100% punk rock with some of the finest vocals I've heard in a long time.. theres 3 free MP3's available from the Epitaph website if you wanna check them out...
Distillers - Secena Falls (http://www.epitaph.com/_lib/stream.php?f=Seneca+Falls.mp3&p=/73/220/34.mp3)
Distillers - Sing Sing Death House (http://www.epitaph.com/_lib/stream.php?f=Sing+Sing+Death+House.mp3&p=/73/220/36.mp3)
Distillers - City of Angels (http://www.epitaph.com/_lib/stream.php?f=City+Of+Angels.mp3&p=/73/220/38.mp3)
And if you cant tell from the songs... the vocalist is female
Enjoy :D

Alrighty then!
The new Voodoo Glow Skulls album Symbolic is out on Epitaph, and it kicks ass. Cool horn section backed up by super guitar work and the usual insane vocals of Mr Frank Casillas make for one helluva Ska experience :D Epitaph have some MP3's for download, so check it out and then BUY THE ALBUM!
Voodoo Glow Skulls - The Drop In (http://www.epitaph.com/_lib/stream.php?f=The+Drop+In.mp3&p=/85/13/2919.mp3)
Voodoo Glow Skulls - El Mas Chingon (http://www.epitaph.com/_lib/stream.php?f=El+Mas+Chingon.mp3&p=/85/13/2924.mp3)
Enjoy :D

Most of you on here are too young to remember him - but Wreckess Eric (ex STIFF records)has a new album out today. Bungalow Hi! I went to see him at a gig in Hull last night so I got an early, personally signed copy (not that I'm bragging or anything...!) and a chat with the maestro himself.

Yep... cant go wrong with a bit of Millencolin...
I think my favourite song is No Cigar... but only cos it was the first Millencolin song I'd ever heard on a Fat Wreck compilation CD while I was living in Florida...
Reminds me of good times y'see...

Do you know some bands which are quit similar to Millencolin? Some which are probably not that popular, small ones...? Would be cool to hear more of that kind of music...some kind of secret hint?
