Correct data cable for nokia 3100

would one of the famous mobile gurus please recommend best type data cable for nokia 3100 and do i have to purchase a nokia pc suite to be able to make own logos etc?? I have seen them on ebay but never know correct ones to get. don't need it for unlocking as thanks to DCT4 that has been done:) Thanks a lot your help is always appreciated. Dilee:love:

software is free, i can help ya get hold of that... cable.. erm... not sure gimme a bit and i'll find out for ya...

dilee12... generally an fbus cable is used for tones and logos and an mbus cable is used for unlocking and some basic software repair (not flashing)
however depending on what prog ur wanna use to upload stuff u may be able to use either. If u can use either then i would recommend mbus or perhaps a mbus/fbus switchable cable. :)

hmmm... i thought M/F-bus cables were only for DCT-3, i must be wrong there then...

Thanks Turbo, Mobile and vicas for all imput. Yes the nokia 3100 is DCT 4 as i have unlocked already with remote codes. (Hooray:-0) I really just want to mess about doing my own logos etc so will probably get the usb you recommend Vicas. Will let you all know when i get it sorted. I hasten to add that this little Nokia 3100 is well nifty and as i am on O2 talk a lot with free texts and free WAP i have downloaded lots of little games wallpaper etc..Although i have Sagem MYX6 on contract with vodaphone its great picture phone but thats about it Nokia is the one for me...cheers everyone Dilee:love:
