Has anyone ever been hypnotised or wanted to be hypnotised?

Hypnosis is intense focused concentration, with the partial or complete exclusion of awareness of peripheral phenomenon.

Hypnosis is often used on a stage for entertainment value, by showing what some people will let themselves do whilst in a subconscious state, but it is also used as a therapy. It has often been used for pain relief, habit disorders, relaxation, psychotic disorders and psychotherapy.

my old graphics teacher/ wanna-be star, has been hypnotised by paul mckenna twice cant remember what he said but he was proud of it.. dodgy guy he was!

No, I wouldn't want to be hypnotised because I dont like the thought of not being in control of my own body and the thought of people taking advantage of me makes me feel queezy :eww:

I have always wanted to be hypnotised. It looks well cool, Plus there are also special hypnotists you can go and see to help you get over your phobia's and stuff like that which sounds really good too. But I bet it would like feel really weird!

I know someone who was hypnotised when he went on holiday. He said he didn't remember a thing about it but his family filmed it. Everyone on stage had to fall asleep on one another, and one guy started crying. I wouldnt mind being hypnotised but i would want it to be filmed so i could see how stupid looked!

i would love to be hypnotised, but i dont think its real, i dont actually think it can be done.

having been hypnotised a few times over my many years of life i can vouch that it does work, i dont know the ins and outs of how it works but it does,

i have no inhibitions about being done again as long as its done for the reason of having a laff:p :p :p

LoL :p ...I just think letting other people become in control of your mind and body is stupid, and I cant see what hypnosis can do for people that a bit of will power or a life time of counsilling can do

If im gonna look like a fool in front of a load of people, i at least want to know about it! And if i dont id prefer it if it was due to too much of a certain drink, rather than some bloke waving a watch in front of my eyes or something...
