Who believes in magic or spells?
There are a couple of different types, I often see in magazines little spells you can do to 'get him to like you' and things like that which I guess could come under witchcraft, or there's the big style type of magic on TV with the famous stars performing massive tricks like making elephants dissapear
Personally, I dont believe spells work but if you have any spells or anything you'd like to share with anyone then post them here :)

I have some spell books from when I was younger. Because I was like into all that stuff, But now I think there aload of rubbish. They dont work at all. Just like the Magic shows, there aint really any magic its just the trick if the eye isnt it. Ne ways thats wot I think :D :D

It is all a trick ent it! On some tv shows they show u the 'behind the scenes' of it all and you get to see how they do some of em, they use like mirrors and speed of the hands n stuff
Although I have to admit, I do quite like Tommy Cooper...he's dead now :-( but he was so funny

i believe in magik. it powers all. there is a power within all of us. I do enjoy parlour magic as it is fun to watch. I'm hoping to improve my knowledge of witchcraft or wicca in the near furture.

there uis already magik in the world... abd not the phoey pick a card any card stuff.
It's life and creation. the beauty of a sunset (cornwalls great place to get beautiful sunsets) the things that go on in out lives. It's all maigik. It's about the balance and creation in our lives.
Yes if the power tipped the scale the world will becom worse than it is now....

Does anyone believe that the people in these magic shows actually do have powers..like Uri Geller?
There was this programe on tv where this guy told this totally random member of public to stand and stare at someone who was walking away from them...then he told them to stare harder...the person turned around and looked at him!
Another thing he did was phone a random number and hum down the phone and it sent the person on the other end to sleep! Whether this was all a hoax I dont know!

i believe the magic Franbeec described has some sort of planning going into this.. it's like the stuff you see on magic tricks revealed. Uri geller has a thing about him which makes me dislike him which is pretty rare, the only person i have the same dislike for is David Dickensen so there's your explaination. where was i... o yea... the magic franbeec described is an illusion and nothing more... to me anyway... i do still enjoy it though.

You've got to be careful when doing real spells, everything can comeback on you up to 10 times what you do, good if you're doing good stuff, not so good with the curses.
This doesn't count with stage magic, if you ask someone to pick a card, you don't end up picking 10

nah your thinking about badly cooked food it comes back on you, I think people get carried away with all this spells nonsense, fair enough you throw a couple of ingredients together and do some chanting or whatever it is that gets done, but that is all you are doing you aren't actually casting spells on people, you may think you are but lets face it your not, the vast majority of the population of the world know this hence the reason they stopped wasting good firewood burning witches years ago. :p

Isn't it all just supposed to be a state of mind? You know, like you cast a love spell on someone, which ends up in being more confident and flirty around this person, leading to them falling in love with you. Or something like that........

Much of it is like that. or example, many people will die of a curse because they are told that they have been cursed and they believe it so much that they die.
