You cannot chat while no Operators are online

Hi,

We have made a change to chat, to make it safer for everyone.

Now, rooms that do not have an op in will have in their topic:
"You cannot chat while no Operators are online"

Forum Moderators (who have a +) will be able to chat in CBFChat, even when it is closed, because we trust you to behave. Please remember that other users without + will NOT be able to talk to you unless you get an Op to come into the room.

Users can still ask an operator to go into any room and open it up. However, the operator will stay in the room and watch you.

Today I was On CBF and there were no Ops Online and loadsa pple couldnt talk, Sum Have sed there gunna go else where. And Also, I know u think it is safer but were losin custom is there any way u can get round this at all?

CBF has never really been Opped in the day , which we will have to look into soon

so im sure for the time being people will just have to manage until Operators are Online

i wouldnt worry about losing Custom as the Chat is there to Run along side the Website Mainly as Help rooms , and most that do come in u know are there just for a "chat"

Yes Franbeec, But Heidi Some times gives them to Regular users on a night time when there are no Ops online.......So that they can talk. Which I dont see a problem with there not doing any harm. Does it matter how many people have + Any way? :rolleyes: LoL :p :)
