Has anyone ever had their palm read? When I was about 9 a friend of mine decided she could read palms, and told me that by the time I'm 25 I will win £10,000 on the lottery. Ok, so looking back I have no idea why she would think she could see that much detail from a line, but at the time I was impressed........

I only agreed with about half of what my reading said. The life line was pretty accurate but the heart line was a lil weird. :rolleyes: :D

I'm not gonna try and read my palm because I don't believe that a few little lines on your hand are the whole map of your life, there was this girl in my year reading people's palms in our science lesson the other day, she was saying stuff like "you're going to have 2 children and your going to have a collision" Personally I think it's a pants, and besides, if I was gonna die some time soon...I wouldn't wanna know about it, can't be natural.

Thought i'd try it out of curosity, and it was almost all amazingly true, but that could just be chance. I wouldnt belive it if it said something was going to happen, and im not going to do anthing different now ive read it, so cant see it could do any harm!

I don't actually believe any of it, the reading they give you is so generalised that you can really twist it to fit your life. But I think it's interesting to look at.

I do not trust in palm reading but tarrot cards i do but i also can read them too and have been correct in specific things not just general!

anyone that thinks that you can tell someones future by palm reading, tarot cards or any matter must be living in a world of fantasy, how can anyone believe that lines on your hands tell u about yourself, the lines on my hands tell me bugger all apart from the scar right across it which tells me i shouldnt of ben working the door when this bloke came in!!!!!

tarot cards are the same the random turning over of picture cards will tell you your furture!!!! lmao!!!

when you go round the country and see these things they are usually run gypsies etc,, which if you look into it gypsies have the mojority of time always preyed on peoples weaknesses (from the taking over of land because they know people are scared of them to telling people a load of crap because they know most people who visit palm readers etc are after some sort of help and they can make a quick buck out of someones miss-fortune)

i myself wouldnt give anyone my well earned money

as for that lass in franbecc class, she was only spouting the obvious, as the average house hold has 2 kids, and dying in a collision, ermmmm is that wen u die in a car crash? when u bump into summat ar someone? it could mean anything!!!!! lmao

What is wrong with the idea of palm reading or tarot cards just being for fun?? It doesn't have to be taken so seriously. If I ever went to get a proper reading then I would just be doing it because it would be interesting to hear what they say, I wouldn't base my life or any of my decisions aroiund it. Tis called fun people.......

Yup im with Alice, theres no harm in it for fun. sure if u start believing it and making decisions based on it, then ur clearly living in dream land. it kept me amused for 5 minutes anyway, and thats all that matters! i can assure u nothing bad will happen if u do it, and i very much doubt itll tell u ur going to die tomorrow!
