There was news saying 10 phones would be released on 3G Vodafone.
when is 3g vodafone gonna be released?

Vodafone 3G will be launched on the 10th November 2004 by top-guy Arun Sarin. Whether handsets will be available to be purchased from this date is as yet unknown, but Vodafone have pledged to have 3G handsets ready in time for Christmas.

Vodafone launched their 3G range today.

The 4 handsets avivlable from today are:

Sony ericsson v800
Samsung z107
Motorola e1000
Motorola v980

Played with it today in the shop - NICE! They've come a long way since the Z1010... which isn't even out yet! Vodafones music download service is cool, and the phone, with it's 1.3mp camera, will definitely be a hit.

Stuff O2, This phone and network sounds amazing. :D

The V800 has an integral music player and can play previously stored tracks from Memory Stick or download tracks at high speed and set them as ringtones. The phone’s mediaplayer makes it easy to manage tracks and its folder system enables the user to create playlists.

I really want one of these now. They sound absolutely amazing.

*Am so jealous you got to play on one though :( lol*

Tracks downloaded over 3G are £1.50 a pop (apparently data charges are free within Vodafone Live), which isn't bad considering Napster is 99p but offers none of the convenience.

I know that I'd *definitely* use the music service.

It's all a bit expensive right now, but the woman said prices will drop pretty quickly.
