I went to see this movie last weekend, and I will admit I was forced into the cinema by two strong lads and a girly kicking my buttocks...

First of all I must point out that ever since I first heard about this movie I figured it was going to be a rip-off of Resident Evil. Then I realised it was a British movie so naturaly figured it would be a VERY BAD rip-off of Resident Evil...

Fortunately I was pleasently suprised. Yes the Resident Evil comparisons are kinda right with only a few people surviving a plague.. cept in this movie its a plague of Rage as opposed to the mighty T-Virus from Ressie Evil. Strangely... it works well. The survivors set out on a journey to find a military outpost, one of the only left standing after the plagues and ensuing riots. Predictably they encounter plenty of trouble along the way, and it doesnt stop when they reach what they assume is the safety of the outpost.

As I've said the storyline is kinda lifted straight from Resident Evil, but somehow manages to work in an English setting just as comfortably as it did in Racoon City.

The only real critisisms I can think of for this filimatic gem(!) is that is seems like it could go on forever at times, and at a complete tangent, it ends too suddenly if that makes any sense at all to anyone other than me. Also it aint scary enuff, but some of you weaker souls might find it a lil bit frightening :D

I should of course point out that I had a terrible toothache the day I went to see it, so I had been taking a LOT of painkillers and then had a few drinks.... *DONT TRY THIS AT HOME KIDS*... but I promise to watch it while totaly sober and I'm assuming at this point that it'll be just as good!

8/10 :D :D
