I bought a nokia 7650 from Ebay and it is great the only problem is that when I try to activate Bluetooth connection, it says Bluetooth System Error, I was wondering if anybody had had the same problem and could tell me what to do to get it fixed or fix it.

Thanks in advance.

Ben.

ok not sure if this'll work but its worth a try, right I'll email you an application called handy file it lets you explore/move files on 7650 and the folder containing what I take to be the bluetooth app but I could be wrong mind so do this at your own risk, and you'll also need an infra red conection seeing as your bluetooth aint working, ok you need to install handy file on your phone via the infra red just goto my computer and look for infra red recipent when your phone is connected go into it and click send file and send handy file to your phone, goto message in box and install it, right now the tricky bit now you need to send the bluetooth folder to your phone via the same method as you used with handy file install, but this time do not try to install the folder instead open handy file it'll give you a choice of C:, D:, and Z: go into C: then system and find the folder called "mail" go into the top folder and search all the folders contained within it untill you find the file called "Btui" when you find it click options on your phone goto edit and click copy, go back to the first screen in handy file the one with C: D: etc, now go into Z: then system and finally "Apps" its the top folder in here you'll find the file called "Btui" again you need to click options on your phone again then goto edit and click paste, if it doesn't overwrite the "Btui" folder that is already there and you end up with 2 of them delete the old one, ok hope this helps in someway and doesn't cause more problems, and if it doesn't help take your phone into your nearest Nokia centre and they should be able to put it right for you. :)

Wow, Thanks alot mate I nowhere near expected such a detailed answer, I will try all that, I'm sure if I am going to take it to a Nokia centre anyway it won't hurt to try this first, appreciate it. It was a bit of a downer when I realised it dint work 'cos it was one of the features I was excited about, so it is greatly appreciated, thanks alot.

no problem, can't have a 7650 without bluetooth as you wouldn't be able to control winamp from anywhere in your house without it, so just hope it solves the problem :)
