Same here. Mischarged me a few times, and ****holes to deal with trying to sort that out, but other than that I'm extremely happy with the network.
I always seem to have decent coverage, and the 300 free texts don't half come in handy.

I don't get you lot, it seems that you are happy about receiving cack service, its almost like you have been brainwashed into accepting second rate service with a smile, and its hardly encouraging the networks to improve, you only need to take a quick look at this forum to find that 2 of the 4 people in this thread that are over the moon with O2, have previously posted threads severely berating them, now either people have really short memories, or they consider being that pissed off by there network that they posted about it on a chat forum is an acceptable level of service. :)

yes ive had one hiccup with o2- and added the comment on here.also rubber_ducky commented he too had troubles,i think we mean in general
But overall im happy...300 free texts for tenner ..use tenner on calls ..if u dont ..ah well its carried over to next month!
if you`ve been with them 6months u get a treat off them ..mine was extra texts!
Signals been fine for me- not like vodafone..go near the seafront here on vodafone ..well ya phoneless!

Thats even worse as I wasn't even on about you Cheeky, so thats 3 out of 4 people, personally if I'd been on here berating my network I certainly wouldn't be giving them glowing praise at a later date, and I wouldn't be so easily bought of by a few free texts or other so called insignificant treats, I believe I once berated T Mobile on here, but I did no further business with them afterwards and there glowing praise from me was thin about the ground. ;)

I think in life there becomes a price where even the most shoddy services become acceptable to us. Our brains seem to calculate some kind of primitive equation balancing quality and cost to establish whether we're getting what we pay for and whether that's enough for us. If that wasn't true then nobody would use Three for a start :)
For *cough* penny pinching students *cough* where price is the optimal concern then O2 looks rosey.

yea i admit i have complained about 02 in the past , and prob will do again in future , doesnt mean i still dont like their network , with good signal all the time and 300 free txts for a tenner, , i cant really complain seeing as there is no other network offering such a service, and until a newwork throws in over 300 txts a month , im sticking with 02

So you admit you have complained in the past and will probably complain again, and then go on to say you can't complain and that you like them, which is it? ;)

More than 300 you say? Well here's (http://www.orange.co.uk/service_plans/payasyougo/thousands_terms.html) a few more than 300.

Taking into account you are at this point comparing him to a ropey network lol, besides the fact its a poor anology. ;)

Newcastler has a point. They are only available off-peak, and also - for me - I can't get a signal on orange at all.
The thing about O2 is that, yes, they've mucked me about a bit in the past, as previously mentioned, but I can ALWAYS get a signal, and the free texts is brilliant.
And it's not accepting poor service. The service has always been great for me apart from that one hiccup.
Other than O2, the only network I can get a decent signal on if Vodafone. But they have much more expensive rates, and no free texts.

I know O2 are probably not the best network in the UK, but I've been with O2 for about 6 years (from back when they were called BT Cellnet) I've used an Orange SIM card too, but wasn't very impressed with it. In the six years that I've been with O2 I've only ever had one problem, was to do with MMS settings and that wasn't really their fault - but they sorted it over the phone, didn't have to pay for the call either. I'll admit that the women on the phone did sound half dead and that she really couldn't be bothered but at leas the call centre was in this country.
Apart from that I haven't had any real problems with them, they are the only network I've ever been with and doubt I'll change, mainly because of the 300 free anytime text messages. The 1MB free GPRS is good too, although I did prefer the 300 WAP minutes instead.

Well all i gonna say is o2 been pickling my head a lot for the last year despite enjoying my free messages and various other rewards i;ve picked up such as free minutes free calls to 901 I've noticed many an odd thing with my balance. Last october my balance kept increasing i ended up gaining over 20 quid in a week for no rerasong it wasn't liek a top up increase was more like installments of random amounts every now and again!
I dint complain but hey i aint ever been mischarged EVER well maybe on a phonecall but they hard to work out exactly how much :D
