Yesterday Vodafone agreed to change me over to the Pay Monthly Sim Only contract available here: http://shop.vodafone.co.uk/index.cfm?fuseaction=home.viewSimOnlyHomePage

Here's a few points about why you should consider this for yourself!

30-day contract, you can leave whenever you like.
Double the standard amount of minutes - 250 for £25.
A free £40 extras pack every month, giving you £120 to spend on SMS, MMS and browsing/data.
No initial cost - the SIM is free.
Your Vodafone SIM can be used in 2G and 3G phones (you may need to call Vodafone for activation).
By not paying for your phone each month, you're free to source your own models from ebay/wherever.

That free £40 extras pack buys a whopping 1000 texts or 50mb of data, or a mixture of texts, picture/video messages, and data.

So, especially if you tend to buy your phones from ebay/elsewhere anyway, this could be the deal for you.

I'm kinda in between phones and contracts just now, so after a brief spell on Vodafone pay as you squawk I opted for the 30 day contract sim, it was hard to resist such an outstanding offer, and although they made a cock up and sent me 2 sims, then cancelled both of them when I asked for one of them to be cancelled I'm still over the moon lol, a quick phone call and many apologies later and everything was sorted, good old trusty Vodafone are rivalled only by The A Team in the speedy nature they fix problems. :D

They are a bit good at bumbling things up, aren't they! They do get it sorted, though, to their credit.

Glad you're giving it a try! I'm still really happy with mine, it's enabled me to use my phone as much as I want to without ever going over £25! If only video calls and content were included in that £120... still, it's a great way to enjoy Vodafone.
