downloading mp3

When i try to upload mp3 songs from the computer to the phone using the usb cable, it starts to upload but near the end of uploading it says 'files of this type cannot be moved into this file'.
Can anyone help because i want some decent ringtones.

Which phone are you trying to upload them to? How big is the MP3 file?

i dont know how big the file was it a mp3 file.
it let me transfer one then wouldnt after that i tried loadin the same song and that wouldn twork either

You could be outta memory as the K608i only has a paltry 33mb of memory with no means to expand, that means its only gonna be good for a few pictures and 1 or 2 mp3's, try deleting some stuff to make more space for other stuff. :D
