I ordered my new contract on friday and phone still hasnt arrived :mad: its a nokia 6680 btw..

Am i expecting to much from vodafone or is there a problem?

I miss having a phone :( my three contract ended on saturday, boo hoo

any ideas?

I'd give em a ring if i were you, everytime i've ordered a new contract fone it's come the next day with vodafone - though maybe the xmas rush has held it up?

yea for the free sims, but for a phone! that ive actually paid for! crazy...

Free sims take forever to come but in my experience vodafone are pretty quick when it comes to mobiles themselves.

just give it time ...it says 7 days , so give it about a month lol

They can be a little slow when it comes to dispatching handsets... calling and checking the status of your order wouldn't do any harm, especially given how busy they probably are right now.

still hasnt come, another day without a phone! But my t-mobile sims came in the post though. I dont know if they have any cred on tho? Dont have any unlocked phones to check

yea didnt come today either. So we gave them a call and they said its out of stock ands you should have got an email, which we didnt. My dad asked how long til restock an dthey said not sure, check back every day! I asked for the sim card only and they said no sorry package deal..

I've never actually ordered a phone directly from a network provider, I've just always ordered my phones from various 3rd party websites, most offer next day delivery, although I did have to wait a few days for my 6630, but a quick phone call on 30th December last year and an exlamation of my disappointment soon sorted it out, my phone was sent out by special delivery and arrived later that day. :D

I liked being able to pick my own number when I purchased directly from Vodafone.

I hate network branding though - my preferred way of purchase is SIM-Free via the likes of mphone, theorder or livetelecom. That SIM-Only offer above really is cracking - if your mobile usage justifies it you can even save money!

Yeah being able to pick your own number is always sweet, but having to wait sucks though.

I'm not a big fan of branding either, fortunately all of the Vodafone contract handsets I've purchased have been unbranded ones. I'm currently considering a 30 day contract as I've now cancelled my contracts with Vodafone and T Mobile, so I'm a free agent untill the N91 is released. :D
