Anyone know if virgin mobiles come unlocked? I only know two people who have bough virginmobiles before and both of their were unlocked - i thought it might have something to do with them needing to connect to the wap of other networks?

I think it's just chance, some are unlocked and some arent. I've noticed the same with O2.

I bought a mobile through virgin and it WAS locked. So yeah, just down to chance me thinks.

afaik, all virgin phones are locked when new.
what sometimes happens though is - if u purchase a phone from cpw or an independent retailer, you occasionally get a sim free fone paired with a virgin payg sim pack.
