Newer Content?

Would it possible for CBF to get newer content eg. 3GP Videos, MP3 Tones, etc? Because all the new phones support a lot more stuff than what CBF is offering. Just a suggestion, not dissing you, CBF is still good for mono tones and poly tones. :)

cbf will progress in their own time...be thankful of what they offer right now , not many sites do such a service ;) ....but maybe in time ...u nvr know

Hmm, I would think that MP3 tones would be verging on infringing on copyrights by offering them for free here, also bandwidth = money so, me being the expert in this & all (hmm), I wouldn't think that the current funding cbf has (ads) would support the extra cost of these

I'm not sure I've seen any of these polyphonic ringtones in the charts or released in singles to be honest...

Well I guess they just made something which sounds similar to something people like, but they still made it. I dunno, I'm definately no expert on this!

Surely an mp3 ringtone would just be a lower quality mp3 of a song...I just use normal downloaded mp3s as ringtones, I don't even bother reducing the quality. So theres no way any site could legally give them away for free... If you only want the tune or something, why not use a polyphonic? Or convert a midi into an mp3 if you really want.

As for videos, don't most people make/get they're own rather than downloading a standard one of some sort? In which case you could use bluetooth/IR/mmc, or even the WAP download feature on this site to get stuff on your phone.

Personally I think this site offers as much as is needed at the moment (I know wallpapers etc have been talked about, that would be a useful addition for some people), these days phone-PC connectivity is so easy anyone with an advanced enough phone to want things such as mp3 ringtones can do it themselves without a problem. For anyone who doesn't, this sites ideal!

Im sure if you had a look you'll find 100s of topics like this. MP3 tones I guess would be breaking copywrite laws. Theres the wap upload also so that can be used for other things offer then tones and logos.

Everything here is legal and paid for. If a time comes when extra content can be added then it will be, but I regret that the 'paid for' services will have the upper hand on much multimedia content for some time to come.
