People are making to big a deal about this, it's the quality of your posts that count, not the quantity. Having 50 posts that say 'lol' or are just smilies just detracts from what the boards are about, and takes up room on the server that could be used for better purposes.

For the sake or arbitarism I would mention that you can fit on average 4441 combinations of a 347byte gif and a 3bit character string on an old fashioned floppy disk. (if I did my sums rite)

But that aint the point. I agree with the Andster on this un but by and large I find the majority of posts in these forums are quality contributions anyway:p
