Hi
T-Mobile is not delivering ringtones and logos from cbfmobile to its users at the moment. This will also affect Virgin users. CBFMobile are looking into it, but it would seem this is just a typical example of T-Mobile being abismal in every way :D
Will update you when I get any news

I third that motion. Three ayes to nil...result? T-mobile suck like industrial hoovers.
And they've been charging me for two days worth of SMSs which they seem to have misplaced somewhere...
I would switch to mmO2 in a flash if I didn't have the sneaking suspicion they were just yet another division of BT.

what IS a good network?
I currently have a 3210 on T-Mobile, but I have bought and am waiting on the delivery of a 3310 on Virgin. Is this gonna be just as bad?!!

Swings and roundabouts I think.
Vodafone have the best international coverage but cost an arm, a leg and a couple of teeth.
T-mobile have good services but are as reliable as a drunk with a handgun.
Orange has its following but costs almost as much as vodafone.
Never tried Virgins.
Oh sorry my mind wandered there...I never tried Virgins network so can't comment.
I think O2 is the best with all that bolt-on stuff but I also think they're using ex-Cellnet equipment and ranges. And if they are anything to do with BT then theyre just setting us up for a fall.
I'd advise getting your phone unlocked and buy an O2 sim from the markets but hang on to your virgin one just in case...
Should cost about 25 squid all in.

DONT go with Virgin
Virgin use T-Mobile. T-Mobile are also trying to get rid of Virgin on their network, and the pair are regularly in court.
Orange is a pretty stable safe network. O2 seems to have some very reasonable pricing and Vodafone, well, yes they're big.
FYI CBFMobile.com is now working with T-Mobile again.

If you're looking for a new phone at the moment and you have a bit of cash or can save up, go with three (http://www.three.co.uk)

Hmm gotta disagree there, been with Vodafone before for a year there overpriced and the coverage up here is mediocre, a few of my mates are on Orange and O2 and have nothing but problems with them, I'm now on T mobile again for a second year and haven't had a single problem with them yet.......well apart from when they tried to charge me 25 notes for a failed direct debit, but when I politely said they could take a sharp stick and ram there....... well suffice to say they accepted my point and not had a single prob with them since and there coverage up here is second to none, I think everyone has good and bad story's bout networks it just depends on what area your in, personaly I reckon if you find a network you are happy with then stick with it as the grass is most certainly not always greener on yonder side :)

lol I have a T-Mobile sim. Topped it up with £20 the other day and at the end it said:
"Sorry, this service is currently unavailable"
so I tried again later and it said...
"Sorry, this topup card has already been used"
I was not impressed :P
My credit appeared later on so I wasn't so ruffled then :P
Orange used to be the one to watch for blocking international SMS messages. Remember MTNSMS? Well Orange were the network that stepped in and blocked them. However, it seems T-Mobile are now the active persuers of restricting incoming SMS from abroad.
If you *are* going to go with T-Mobile, you must at least ensure you go with T-Mobile themselves and not one of their virtual networks :P
littlemissy - when you get your virgin phone be sure to tell us whether you can receive ringtones/logos from cbfmobile.com or not!
