Yeah ok so you can't actually crush people via bluetooth, but you can reboot there phone which is the next best thing, this trick will only reboot Nokia S60 phones as far as I'm aware so it should work on anything from 7650 to 6680, it wont reboot N Series handsets though. Once you have followed the easy steps bellow anyone using an S60 device near you will be unable to search for bluetooth devices, as the minute they find you there phone will reboot, its worth noting it wont reboot previously paired phones.

1. Send the attached text file to your phone and save it.

2. Go to Notes and open the text file you just saved.

3. Hold the Pencil button and press right on the direction pad till all of the text is highlighted and press the left softkey to copy it.

4. Go into Bluetooth settings and click to change your phones bluetooth name, delete your previous name and then hold the pencil button followed by the right softkey to paste your copied text (" 1 ")

5. Restart your phone and your ready to go.

Remember use this trick wisely and don't be annoying with it, its fun to reboot your mates phones a few times, but going around with it on all the time might start to annoy people, have fun. :)

Yup I was also a skeptic to begin with, I first heard about it way back in the early days but couldn't recreate it myself until recently, it seems the space between the " and the 1 cause the OS problems, as they aren't actually spaces hence the reason the trick only works by copying and pasting the text, upon discovery via bluetooth the OS becomes unstable and reboots, a similar result can be obtained via the malformed objects attack, which consists of pushing a malformed business card onto another device, upon attempting to read it the device *p@rser (*p@rser) becomes unstable resulting in a system crash, I suspect both of these exploit the same flaw in the OS. :)

* Damn the swear filter lol. :)
