I was talking to sum1 at Virgin mobile yesterday.
They told me that as part of their summer promotion, they will be offering free texts to virgin mobile customers, starting 28th of April and running until 28th September.
Free 24/7, no minimum monthly topup required and you dont even need any credit on your fone.
Only to other Virgin mobile phones though.
Might be time to look out those free virgin mobile sims you all got a few weeks back :D

Conditions



1. From the 28th of April to the 30th of September, Virgin Mobile customers can send up to 1000 free texts from or within the UK per calendar month to another Virgin Mobile. (28th of April to 31st of May counts as one month.) Texts to other Virgin Mobile customers are free, however you pay. So if you're a bundle customer or you're on a Pay Monthly contract, you won't pay a single penny or lose a single text from your allowance when you text another Virgin Mobile phone within the UK.

2. Your free texts are for your personal use only and we reserve the right to monitor how many texts you use during this promotion. Our legal guys have asked us to mention that if we reasonably suspect you're abusing this offer for commercial purposes we may disconnect you immediately without notice.

3. The offer doesn't include texts to shortcode services, like group text, or picture message services.

4. You cannot roll over any of the 1000 texts that are not used in any month.

5. We reserve the right to change or withdraw all or any part of this promotion if it becomes uneconomical, technically impractical or otherwise not fulfilling its purpose to you or us. If we do, we will give you as much notice as we reasonably can.
