Well this is a special westlife post in cause its about WESTLIFE!

So if you luv- Nicky, Shane, Mark Bryan or Kian here is your chance to talk bout them as much as u like!

Westlife UK Tour Starts off this month so if any of u Westlife fanz r going to any of the dates, plz tell us

Me and Chrissy are going on the 28May so if any of you r going on the same date as us, plz tell us we would luv 2 know, u never know we may even bump in2 ya's!

I happen to like westlife's re-mix version of 2nite! i thinks its actually better than the orginal. and i also think Brain's black hair suits him better than blonde. :cool:

I totally agree PH! We could easily slag off ur taste in music, but no we dont cause thats ur own taste in music!

I am NOT ashamed 2 say i luv westlife, if they r so crap how cum they have had 12 number 1's? answer that!

I like their music yes, its good to chill out to. I only have one cause for complaint and that is that their songs always sound the same. I have all the Westlife albums so i can't really slag them off, that would be hypercritical.

The reason they had so many number 1's is because they are all quite nice in their own way, and everyone has a favourite Westlife lad, the girlies go out and but single after single, just for the sake of it. Exactly the same as what happened with the Beatles. Why do you think so many female artists wear hardly anything in their music videos? They just want people to buy their music, and yes that really is how shallow people are!

Like i said, i have their albums, it is good to chill out to, and it is also good background music if your doing coursework etc. Given the choice between actual music like Westlife and some...ahem... noise like Slipknot etc, i know what i'd choose.

The reason they have so many number ones is because so many teenage girls by their songs/albums based purely on their looks as opposed to their talent (Or lack of it!). For me (And this is just my opnion) a 'band' should have at least 3 qualities to be classed as a band

1. Play their own instruments
2. Write their own songs
3. Be able so sing!

These surely are the main points for 'talent' and seeing as the typical boyband only manages one out of those 3 (And sometimes none out of three!) then they don't really qualify as a talented band, but merely a money making scheme put on by the record companies.
