n80 question again

Ok here we go again chaps

The nokia n80

I have already got the answers i required for gps and tom tom
I am about to pick up one of these on ebay
now prices vary depending on unlock or not
If I buy one thats locked to orange for example how easy is it to unlock the phone to o2 my choice of provider

also one other thing

this is just a preference thing
n80 or n91

need a fast reply though so will go with best answer

Can't comment on the N91. I don't particularly like the N80 (I have one) but it's ok. I'm sure most people will have loved it, but I found it hard to live with. It has all the good features, though, including WiFi.

Buy unlocked, unless your budget doesn't allow. I think Nokia's are still quite difficult to get unlocked. If you must get a locked one, get it on the network you expect to use it on to avoid disappointment.

The N91 is a bit of a dog to be honest I'd avoid it like a weekend in Paris with Elton John, the N80 also isn't without issues but I'd say its the lesser of 2 evils here, performance is somewhat stodgey due to underclocked CPU and the high screen resolution amongst other things, but it has a lot of positives also and the screen resolution is definitely one of them albeit at a cost, wifi is also nice and once you get used to it the camera isn't to bad for the odd snap here and there. As Ben says if you have to get a locked one get one on the network you want to use it on it avoids needless tedium. :)
