unlimited off-peak web+iPhone

OK, I have an orange payg sim with unlimited weekend and afternoon web.

Does anyone know if this would work in the iPhone?

Nope it wont work, the iPhone is on the o2 network afaik

O2 phones usually ship unlocked, but not sure about the phone, nip into an O2 shop and ask.

You could use your Orange sim in an iPhone, but you'd have to get one that was unlocked. O2 are shipping the iPhone locked and that wont change anytime soon.

Bang unlock iphone into Google and I'm sure you'll find a plethora of sites about how to get the O2 SIM lock off.

It's hassle though, and it may make applying future updates hard. The long and short of it is that it's possible to use your Orange SIM in an iPhone but it's not recommended.
