I got ma hair braided with extensions last October and loved it. My hair is just past my shoulders normally so to have hair touching my ass was so cool. And I kept them in for 4months!! Sure, it looks great and you get alot of attention, but looking after it is the real problem!! I'm ashamed to admit that my hair started getting itchy, underneath at the back of my neck, so i ended up taking them out in january, (with difficulty may i add?!) it took me, my gran and mum 4 hours to get them out. And when i washed my hair, what was in the Sink but 1000's of tiny little moving beasties!!! Makes me feel itchy just thinking about it now!! It was horrendous the amount had been entwined in my braids, you couldn't see them when my hair was braided, yet afterwards they'd come out in bundles if i ran a brush through my hair. I'll never EVER get it done again. it was such a mess and took 2 months to get rid of them all. Not worth £150!!:mad:
